How does it work?
Turn your pen on, wait for the green light, insert a strand of filament into the back of your pen until you feel it grip. One click of the orange button is all it takes to get the Start+ pen running, and a second click will stop the pen.
Which plastic refills can be used? Is it safe?
The 3Doodler Start+ 3D Pen is only compatible with the 3Doodler Start Plastic filaments which is 2.5mm in diameter. The strands are made from the highest quality materials and have all been subjected to the strictest standards of safety testing.
Is the pen safe for children?
3Doodler Start plastic is warm to the touch when extruded from the tip of the pen, completely safe to touch! Pen tip doesn’t get hot either, so there is no burn risk. Safely use your hands to shape your Doodles to perfection before they harden.

Fun item, great customer service!
My 10yo daughter got this for Christmas and loves it! Easy to use and lots of ideas if things to create.With that said, ours jammed up. Reach led out to customer service and they were fantastic. After going through all the troubleshooting they sent a new one and she’s back to using it again.

My 9 year old son loves making creations with this. I was more impressed with the customer service. Ours stopped working a month or so after he started using it. I contacted the company and they sent a new pen immediately. I sent the one that wasn’t working back to them and they took a look at it and provided us feedback and instructions on why it stopped working so we wouldn’t make the same mistake with the new one. Can’t find much good customer service anymore and I was pleasantly surprised with this company.

The Grands Enjoyed this Craft
The doodler kept my two older kids’ attention for about an hour. Every child is different about their love of crafting, mine tend to like new crafts to try. The device takes some patience, it is slow at heating the material. It also takes some getting used to how it works best and the techniques to keep a steady flow coming out. I am not sure that it will be more than a novelty for my grands, but they did have fun initially making things with it. Time will tell if it’s something they ask to revisit.

It works!
My 9yr old really enjoys this item. He has already made several things that are pictured, and I even enjoyed making the butterfly. Only downside is that I had to already buy more colors because the amount that comes in this kit didn’t last us long.**Just a heads up… when you want to change colors, click the large button on the device twice and the colored stick will reverse out BUT when the new color is in, there will still be some of your old color inside. For example, I was using yellow and wanted to switch to blue. I reversed the yellow stick out (click twice to move stick backwards) and started the blue (click once to move stick forward) and some yellow still came out and started spewing out green because the yellow was mixing with the blue. I let that color combo exit on a napkin before putting the blue on my butterfly.

Kids LOVE it.
Great little item for the grandson on his 8th birthday. He loves using it and it brings out those creative ideas. Works wonders for eye/hand coordination without a game controller. He and sister are both using one of these now and love working together on projects. It works well, it is easy for smaller hands to hold. So far no issues with this item.

Very fun, and fantastic support!
This is a super fun toy, for everyone in the family. Sadly, ours died Died after only a couple times using it, so i reached out to their support team. The help From Steven was fast and very effective. He determined we needed to send the pen back, so he immediately got a replacement to me and I shipped the broken doodler back in the package the new one came in. He even followed up to let me know it was a bad rod (user error) that clogged the machine. So read your instructions, and keep an eye on your kiddos to make sure they don’t put a rod in that is flawed! We are back to messing with this toy, and its really fun to figure out different ways to create with it.

La verdad es un producto muy bueno, a mi hija de 5 años le encantó y le pareció muy bonito y los diseños muy buenos. Es un tanto difícil de usar al principio, pues el cargar las barritas de colores puede costarles un poco al principio. Al principio le frustró que no se hacía el 3D directo, si no que tenía que estar uniendo caras en 2D, pero una vez logrado esto, fue un excelente regalo que disfrutó mucho.
