Perfect for keeping a purse off the back seat floor! Metal and has a great hinge closure.
I have bought several different types of these hooks to put on my headrest of my vehicle and be able to hang a purse, lunch bag, takeout bag, anything I didn’t want to end up in the floorboard of my vehicle. These are by FAR the best I have ever found or purchased. Number one DURABLILITY, made of metal with no rough edges, they are not going to break or bend. The FIT perfectly and don’t move or come undone. The clasp/closure works GREAT and easy to use and remove but provides safety also. No sharp edges and once it’s in place it’s not going to snap off or break, and it stays put. No risk of damaging seats, leather or cloth. Barely noticeable when installed so they’re not bulky or gawdy, not in the way!When my son and daughter in law visit or we all go to dinner together, us ladies don’t have to leave purses on the floor or in our laps. Anyone in the back seat can hang their purse on the hook and it’s well within reach but not in the way. Use it in the front and hang a lunch bag on it and your lunch won’t end up in the floor if you have to turn or stop quick! I’ve hung take-out bags on it, among other things. Need a spot to put a water bottle close by… there ya go. So easy to attach, detach, move front/back and small enough to store in glove box or console with no problem.Other hooks I’d bought either came apart, broke, rusted, or had rough edges that might mess up my leather seats. NO need to worry about these, I have have had NO issues with mine and love how handy they are. I have used them and tell friends about them, encourage them to use/try them when they ride with me and I tell them where to find them on line.. and will SEND them the link via text messages so they don’t forget! Install was a breeze. Pretty strong. Work as intended. Added much-needed organization to my car. Easy to snap back off if anyone is in the back seat or can just remove the bags…hooks themselves don’t stick out super far and are convenient for bags, purses, umbrellas, jackets etc. Might buy more or move them to hook on the back seats (instead of my front seats) so that the hang on the “trunk side.” Would buy again. Worth the price.

These fit well and securely on wire type headrests. It will not work on my 1996 Honda Civic but they are great on 2003 Element, 2010 frontier and the wife’s 2020 Forester.I use mine to hang my EDC work bag on the back of my seat. It supports a full size backpack full of my lunch, coffee thermos, a few random tools, level 3 armor plate, first aid kit and some other sundries I like to keep on hand when I’m driving into the city for work.

These hooks were a must in my car for hanging clothes, purses, grocery bags, totes, you name it. They are very sturdy and the safety hooks work great so that they do not slide off easily. 3 of the 4 work. I tried to pop the clip back into the hole but it keeps springing out. I didn’t realize my back seat headrests (in a hatchback) to the trunk are sewn in, so 3 is actually plenty for me, they work as intended. This is my solution to not get pissed off at a passenger who is in my purse/bag’s seat.

Great Idea!
I purchased these on impulse and so glad that I did! I put one in every car. They are great for hanging my handbag on the passenger seat, as this keeps my bag from spilling if I brake suddenly and keeps it off the floor so that stays cleaner. On road trips I use the hook to hang a grocery bag on the back of the seat to collect the trash between stops.
