Great sound, great price!
(UPDATE to previous review.) Two days later I ordered another one of these bad boys. I use it for my work and home laptop. Same quality, same sound and same satisfaction as with the first speaker. Love this little guy. I paired it with my wife’s and the quality of sound was amazing. The instructions to pair are not entirely accurate. I would watch the video instead. Not complicated but the video method works and is easy to follow. I haven’t fully taken advantage of the portable feature (speaker on the go) but I can easily see that it would be convenient and effective. Do it! You won’t be disappointed.Believe the hype! I looked over the reviews and was impressed by the responses. The images showed it as well-made and durable. I like that it’s waterproof as this would be a shower speaker for my wife. Her current speaker is tinny and super low quality. For $30 I figured I couldn’t go wrong. It arrived well-packaged and with a 50% charge. It connected to our phones easily and quickly. We are thoroughly impressed with the sound. This little guy packs a punch. My only word of caution is you cannot custom tune this model with the SoundCore app. It appears this is the only model not supported. I’m happy with the stock preset so it really wasn’t an issue. This would make a great speaker for work or for my home laptop. I will definitely order one for myself.

Buy it! Best portable speaker.
Absolutely incredible speaker. Quick set up. Easy controls. Sound quality is nice. Loud enough one is fine for the whole pool area but not too loud to have the sound carry far. Saw that it was waterproof so I handed the speaker to my toddler in his play pool. Yep it’s waterproof. Amazing. Incredible price too. Bought some random brand speaker for likely a little more then this and the Anker brand sounds much better. More battery life. Long warranty. Better construction it looks sturdy. Very happy with this and every Anker purchase.

Highly Recommending – great Value
OMG this is a fantastic, compact speaker. Good power, long lasting. I had an old version of this Anker but had the old port that the pins were braking… this is a C-Charger, waterproof, holds a nice long charge. I use it to travel in the car long distances to listen to music and podcasts. Volume is substantial, easy to charge and was easy to bluetooth setup. Great speaker – i would buy this again.

Decent speaker, higher frequency range is a little poor
The unit holds good charge for a few days of use. The volume level is good and the unit is small, compact and well built. The sound quality lacks some treble or the higher frequency range but otherwise it is ok for mid-range and somewhat for lower frequencies. For the price it is not bad.If the manufacturer can improve the higher frequency range this speaker would be quite amazing for the price.

Terrific compact speaker
This is a terrific, compact portable speaker irrespective of its low price. It’s not a cheaply made speaker even though it’s value-priced. Do your self a favor and purchase the speaker/case bundle available on Amazon. The case is certainly needed if you’re going to transport this speaker anywhere. It deserves to be protected. I purchased this speaker for my wife to use at work, and she loves it. It weighs about 1 lb, so carrying it in her book bag is really not a problem given some of these portables weigh about 3 lbs. The tone response is nice for a $30 speaker. I’m a professional musician and I’m pleased with its low, high, and mid-range responses. Take a chance and purchase it. It’s new to us so I cannot comment on the speaker’s longevity, but I’ve always enjoyed great experiences with ANKER products.

Awesome Product
Awesome sound and the battery life is great. I purchased this to be used when I’m working in my garden with my wife. It has great sound quality and love the fact that it’s water proof as I did get it wet with no effects. I also use it when I’m in the shower. This product is easy to carry around everywhere as it fits in my wifes purse, we take it with us as we love to get takeout meals and eat at parks around Oahu.

Great Bluetooth speaker for the shower (or other wet/humid environment)
Although I’m not an audiophile, the sound from this speaker is quite good; if you consider its diminutive size and reasonable cost, the sound is GREAT! Also very easy to set up. My only criticisms are 1) no charging block is provided (but like most folks, I had plenty of others at home to choose from) and 2) instructions were scant, and the pictograph about charging is very ambiguous.
