If you’re looking for the Perfect Product for Everything, Here it is!!
I’m 65 now and have been detailing my Rides since 16. There are some good products out there, but I’ve been hoping for a Great Product to come along, and Car Guy’s Tire Shine Spray finally made it. The inset pictures are of my Wife’s 2006 Honda Element Ex, yes, that’s right 2006 and my 2008 Roush Mustang 427R both 18 and 16 years respectively, all original paint and inside Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, ABS Dashboards, etc., and you can tell we’ve kept them nice and plan on doing so as they’re both low mileage vehicles. I’m always in the market for better products than the stagnant old standard stuff and I came across this Car Guy’s outrageous product. It does say “Tire Shine” but reading the label, it says it’s great for interior, exterior rubber, plastic and vinyl, so I thought I’d give it a shot on all the exterior/interior ABS and tires. This product comes with a very cool triangle applicator which makes it extremely easy to reach everywhere including inside corners and narrow trim areas. Then just sit back and watch this incredible solution dry to an amazing looking shell-like shine and protectant. I kept making excuses to keep going out to the garage over and over just to gaze upon the beauty this stuff gave my cars which already looked good, but CG’s Tire Shine took them to another awesome level. Thinking about ordering the gallon size. This one’s easy to give 5 Stars all day long for excellent product, excellent value, ease of application and I have no fear of contradiction, the longevity between reapplication will be a substantial time. So far, not too bad. Goes on easy.
Gave a before and after pic. These are litterly brand new tires with about 3 miles driven on them to take it home. Came home cleaned the car and scrubbed the tires. Followed instructions to a “T” on how to apply for the most shine and this is the outcome. Was hoping it would be a little bit more glossier but this is fine. Haven’t driven it to see if there is any “sling” and I obviously don’t know how long the shine will last but if it stays like this for a couple weeks, I’ll be happy.

Amazing! I’ve used the other Black Magic tire shine and it was bleh. This one was easy to apply, shiny, and comes with a perfect applicator brush. Did both cars and it was easy!

Wow, this stuff works. Going from never using tire shine and just regular plastic trim rehydrating sprays, I’m extremely impressed with this stuff. Just 15 minutes of this sitting on my freshly washed tired showed extremely good results. I was skeptical at first because I knew that it was wet and freshly applied so of course it would look good but I came back a few hours later and saw that it was completely dry to the touch and still had the glossy wet look I wanted. The attached pictures show my tires dry after a wash, and 3 hours after application and any excess wiped off.

So I would say to start off that I don’t like a super glossy tire shine, but I do like something that has just a bit of shine that makes the tire stand out a bit.For me this product was hit and miss. If I spray applied it and left it on as the directions say, the look was nice, shiny but not super glossy however there was a lot of sling off of product. If I applied it let it sit for a few minutes and wiped off the excess, no sling off but the finish was very dull, it didn’t look much different than a freshly cleaned and dried tire.Perhaps the trick is to use their microfiber applicator to work the product in while wet to get a more even coating and letting it dry without wiping it off, however my order never included the shown applicator.It seems finicky to get the right look compared to other products I’ve used. It does last well, so if you can find an application method that gives you the look you want, it’s probably great.

Great stuff. Tires look great but more importantly DOES NOT attract dust to get tires once dry. I drive down a dirt road and although dust got on the tires it did not turn into a sticky mess. I will wash my truck over the next few weeks and let everyone know how long it lasts.

One of the worst product I’ve ever owned. The claim of it lasts long is simply propaganda. After just two rains, it’s completely gone. Don’t be fooled!
