It may be worth it
It helped my very dry lips immediately! I read the reviews, I was nervous about spending the money for a lip gloss if it was just going to be a sticky lip gloss. However, my lips were seriously dry and I had tried everything. I was drinking water, wearing other expensive lip care, nothing helped. So, I have this a try.#1 – it has a bad smell, in my opinion. The smell is just when you apply it, so if you can get past that, you’re good.#2 – it is sticky right when you apply it. But, it’s a lip gloss, not a matte lip stick, so don’t expect it to be anything else. After it’s on your lips for a bit it blends in and just becomes smooth and soft.#3 – The applicator wand is very thin and it makes it rather uncomfortable to apply. They could improve on that.#4 – bottom line. After just one day my lips feel so much better. I had pieces of dry skin on my lips yesterday. Today they are gone. My lips are softer and do not hurt anymore. When I am wearing the lip gloss, which is clear, my lips look like I’m wearing a light color.So, if you have dry lips or want softer lips, try this.

Didn’t work for me
I really wanted to live this plumping gloss but I am left disappointed. It tingles how a while one applied but sadly doesn’t plump my lips at all. It’s a bit sticky on the lips as well. It does have a good glossy shine but not worth the & 35 since it didn’t work for me. I’ve read other reviews and it appears it works for others.

Still undecided but it’s beginning to grow on me.
Update: So I’ve used this about 3 times this week (since I’ve only worn full makeup 3 times) and it’s growing on me. By the 3rd use I am noticing a difference in my lips. They are slightly plumper, especially the top lip. Also my lip color isn’t bleeding into the fine lines as much as it had been before using city lips. I still don’t like the stickiness but by putting this on first when doing my makeup and then adding my lipstick over the top at the end as usual it seems to damp down that stickiness. Yesterday I forgot I even had it on…which wasn’t possible previously. I’m going to continue using it and see how it goes.Original Review:I used this for the first time this morning and I’m really undecided about it.The not so great: First of all, it does have a slight sting to it… slightly above a “tingle”. I put it on 4 hours ago and it still feels a bit tingly.Second, it’s really sticky. I attempted to blot it off after about 10 minutes and it continued to feel sticky. I put my regular lipstick over it in an effort to tamp down the stickiness but that didn’t help.The good: thus far the only thing I can say I like about it is that it enhanced the natural color of my lips. They looked like I had a natural/pink lip gloss on.I can’t tell yet if it’s going to make my lips appear plumper or reduce the appearance of fine lines.To be honest, I’d return the product right now if I could. But since I can’t I’ll continue using it to see how it works over time for lip plumpness and fine lines. Frankly, it’s going to have to do that job REALLY well in order to make the stickiness acceptable.I’ll continue to use the product and update my review accordingly. Hopefully it will make the price of the product worthwhile.

Love this product!!! I am a chapstick girl who has to apply all day long because there dry. I apply in the morning with a makeup routine and don’t apply anything throughout the day. I apply at night before bed. Will be buying this product again!! Lips look fuller and natural

Absolutely NOTHING works on my lip chelitis except this product. Nothing. I’ve spent easily many thousands of dollars over the years trying to find something that would make my lips stop peeling. Even using nothing at all. This is the only product that has ever helped and I’m a lifer now. Search over.** I will say that the product from Amazon vs. the product direct from CityBeauty has a very odd smell and that is disappointing because this is my all-time favorite beauty product. That’s never happened when I’ve purchased direct before they started selling on Amazon.
