Good books, but…
If you’re looking for some chaptered books for your younger child and they are into Pokemon these are a good purchase. I bought these for my 6 year old, and they love them. Note, however that this collection of eight books published by Scholastic, are part of the 16 book “Super Collection” published by Orchard. They are the first 8 books of the Orchard collection except the Orchard books have different titles (everything else appears to be the same).

Black and white pictures, 1980s textured paper, spoken English phrases such as isn’t, don’t in a written format which is not acceptable for educational purposes.

As historias sao boas, e é bom pra ensinar os filhos a ler em inglês. Mas o material é ruim e frágil com folhas quase transparentes. Pelo preço e pela qualidade, nao recomendo a compra.

The books are good quality and decent length of chapters for reading. However, I was very disappointed to learn that they are all in black and white. This makes them much less appealing for the kids. Contemplating returning them because of this.
