    Excellent
These sneakers do not slip on my heels, they have durably lasted me many months, have durably survived different types of weather such as rain, fit my feet perfectly, are comfortable and not stiff, and are not heavy. These are very nice shoes. Most likely next time I will buy slightly different Columbia shoes, just in the interest of wearing black instead of brown.

Incredibly comfortable with no break-in needed.
I love the fit, look, and most of all the comfort of these Crestwood shoes. . I have a pair of Columbia Newton Ridge Plus II for a little over a year and they are the reason I wanted to stay with Columbia when shopping for a “summer” hiking shoe. Incredibly comfortable and the soles have excellent traction and grip characteristics. I walk about a mile and a half five days a week with my dog through Fields and various terrain and my boots have held up well. I’m optimistic that the Crestwood will be just as durable and comfortable.I know that there are perhaps more premium boots out there, but why pay three and four times the price? If these only last me two years like some people have mentioned in the reviews. I’m OK with that because the price point is so affordable and I think the value is exceptional.

Eight month daily driver review: great all-rounder shoe, could use some improvements
Purchased this pair in May 2023, have been using it as a daily driver for work and for weekends in the past eight months.Fit: true to size, I use Nike casual shoes as a generic benchmark and it feels the same in size.Pros:- Awesome support! I can stand in these for over four hours without feeling fatigue. In other pairs of office and casual dress shoes I’ve tried, I can’t stand in them for more than a maximum of two hours before feeling uncomfortable. Something about these Fairbanks sole designs allow long time standing more comfortably, I’m guessing it has to do with the studded design to allow pressure on the foot to release.- Great water resisting. While it’s not goretex nor waterproof, it does a nice job of preventing any light water splashes that is caught on the fabric to reach your feet. This was tested in the rain and in riverbeds, I’ve noticed the material keeps the water on the outer layer. There is aCons:- Ankle strap is somewhat useless, a revision consideration is to loop it to make it function better.- Can trap heat inside, if you are a sweaty feet person, this is going to happen with certainty. This is due to the padded suede design on the back plus the main fabric weave doesn’t ventilate quickly.- It’s not grippy in slippery conditions, one example being marble floors and soap. But in the ice, snow and mountains it has no problem for conditions with generic forest trails. Have not attempted on trails made up of loose rocks. After 8 months of daily use, some cosmetic threads are starting to come out on some corners of the laces and the bottom sole has already worn off that where the logo is almost no longer visible. This is a bit quick for maybe 300-500 miles of use. Overall 4.25/5 stars, there is a lot of room for improvement if Columbia decides to add features in the next revision.

    Very Happy
These are my first pair of Columbias and for the price they were I am incredibly happy. Well built, sizing is right on the money and they’re comfortable out of the box. The tread is aggressive but not so much that it becomes a hazard and the sole has enough rigidity and flex to be well-suited for both light hiking as well as everyday wear.

    Great for low traction surfaces
Will purchase these again.Noticeably safer on icy/snowy pavement. Likely due to the multitude of small-ish rectangular lugs on the bottom of the outsooe. Comfortable (if socks are worn). Large toe box. Not exactly warm in colder climates but breathe well. Minimalistic design is acceptable for winter month business casual wear (I went with black). Not a highly technical shoe with all the modern updates found in a more expensive walking show. But still a good value considering the price for a “brand name” item.

    Excellent Quality Hiking Shoes
Men’s Columbia Men’s Crestwood, Dark Brown/Baker hiking shoes, size 11. I am very happy with the quality of the materials, quality of the construction and the comfortable fit. The fit as expected. I like the nylon loopholes, I suspect they will be less abrasive to the boot laces than the metal hooks on my other Columbia hikers.I already have a pair of Columbia hiking boots, but wanted something lower cut for walking around the neighborhood this summer. These will work well for me.

Fit much better than the last pair i bought that was size 50. Now that I have these, I realise, the last pair would have been better as size 51 as these were.
