Great for those without heated seats!
I love this so much! I suffer from lower back pain and we do a lot of long distance driving. I don’t have heated seats so this is the next best thing. And way less than buying a new car! It’s soft and comfortable and works awesome!

Stopped working after 7 uses – BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE is EXCELLENT!
A good pad at a good price — except that it quit working after about 7 times of use!I bought this to use on long road-trips to heat my back and it worked well. I was about to place a 2nd second order, so my husband could have it as well and we don’t have to move it, when we travel in his car. But only after 7 uses it quit. I am outside the return window now – so that is about $30 for 7 uses. That is not my idea of a quality item. I will look for another heating pad!Update: I have changed my review to 5 stars, based on the Customer Service! I posted my disappointed review and was really surprised to receive a direct message from the seller about my experience – even though it was outside my return window. I have not dealt with the seller/manufacturer to stands by their products like this, in a long time. Based on this alone, I am very likely to return to ComfyTemp products in the future.

Good Product, We’ll See If It Lasts
This heating pad seems to work well. The controller is easy to use and seems solid. The pad itself seems a bit thin, so it will be interesting to see how long it lasts. But since it will mainly be used for long car trips, should last a while. It heats up fairly quickly, and setting 2 (of the 4 available) seems to be pretty warm, so heat output is good. Also bought an adapter for outside the car.NOTE ABOUT ADAPTER FOR NON-CAR USE: On the Amazon page for this heating pad they state users usually bought the adapter shown in the picture. This heating pad requires 40W (not stated anywhere, even on the company website) and the adapter only outputs a max of 8W. So get an adapter with at least a 60W output.

Great for winter camping!
Works great and puts out a decent amount of heat. I plug it into my Jackery when camping. It was originally for my dog, but I use it too! I slip a pillowcase over it since the cover isn’t removable.

*UPDATE* 4-30-24: customer service messaged me very promptly after I posted the negative product review below. They offered me a full refund and invited me to try a replacement. I opted for the full refund. I got the impression that the seller cares about customer satisfaction and is trying to discover why some of the units are burning out far sooner than they should. Customer service 5 stars, but I still can’t recommend the product itself.Original review: Purchased this in January 2024 because we bought a new motorhome that does not have heated seats. Husband has lower back pain since he was rear-ended 40 years ago, and has grown to rely on the heated seats in his work truck when he travels. We took our first trip in April 2024 and he took it out of the box and plugged it into the receptacle on the dash. He said it was just the right amount of warmth and made his 1 hr 20 minute drive to our camping destination comfortable. He said it was a keeper. The 2nd day of our outing he plugged it in to ease his shoulder and heard a “pop”… obviously something shorted out and the product is no longer usable. We’re outside the return window. Lesson learned. From now on we’ll take our good heating pad and plug it into the 110 volt inverter on the dash. We can give 5 stars for pain relief, traveling and comfort… but since it blew up on the 2nd use, it gets one star overall. Really deserves zero stars.

Works amazingly well!
I have tried heated car seat covers and pads in the past and they were all weak and would barely get warm. This gets really warm and you can position it right where you need it. It comes with a very soft cover and controller with a timer that goes from 30 min to 9 hours. So nice on roadtrips or for those cold winter mornings.

We are a bit disappointed in the level of heat. It simply does not get that hot. We bought 3 and it’s the same for all units. We tried it inside on a Ac to 12 volt converter and the same result. We kept them but aren’t really that happy. A bit more hat and I’d call them perfect.Nice controller. We want ed to be able to have them come on once 12 volts is provided but you need to turn it on manually every time.
