Good value for money & quality.
I have a really awkward mid century stairwell with brass railings that no other gate would fit securely. I tried several. This does an excellent job of keeping my dog upstairs and looks decent. I don’t honestly think there’s a gate I’d get excited about aesthetically but this is plain and low profile especially considering it’s strength. Easy for adult humans to operate and keeps my old dog from falling down the stairs. It has stayed put perfectly, feels solid and it doesn’t damage my walls or bannisters. The foot plate to catch the gate is useful. It swings both ways and closes after you which is a nice feature when you’re carrying a laundry basket or whatever. Although the instructions don’t explain much (which is par for the course these days), it was fairly easy to figure out after some minor frustration.

I’ve purchased two of these gates for stairs in my home to keep my dachshunds from climbing them. I love that the gate will automatically close behind me since I usually have my hands full. The set up is very easy and intuitive, with clear instructions. The white finish that I have looks great with no cosmetic flaws. I haven’t seen any damage to my walls/paint from the rubber anchors. If I ever need another gate, I would definitely repurchase.

Sturdy, great finish and quality. The door operates very smoothly.It was tricky to figure out to remove a security wire before opening the door but I realized you need to do it after it’s fully installed. I still don’t know why but that’s fine.I will buy a second one. The gap for a kitty worked perfectly.

I used the suction cup for stability and it works great! Easy to install also! Opening the gate is a little hard because you have to press push the latch while pulling up to open it but it also serves as an extra layer of safety for the baby so I dont mind it. The height is great and fits from wall to wall perfectly.

If you are wondering if you should buy this gate because you’ve had bad luck with gates in the past this is the gate that you’ll love!I bought it because when I watch my sister’s dog I have to keep him separated from my dog. It’s easy to put up and take down because of the option to mount it with pressure rather than permanently if you want. The gate part works flawlessly as it swings shut on its own and the adjustments are super simple to make sure it shuts and latches properly. Just follow the simple instructions and you’ll have it up within 20 minutes. It hinges both ways and also stays open if you swing it at a 90 degree angle. The design of this gate is amazing and I will definitely be buying another one this summer to replace the one on my porch that is a pain to use!

very sturdy and easy to install.
I wasn’t sure about the length because ours was at the upper limit that fits. It works perfectly. It is easy to open the gate (not so easy that the dog can do it though). It looks so much better than the chair and boxes that we had at the foot of the stairs to prevent the dog from going upstairs…and much easier for us when we need to get up there. Our dog hasn’t made any attempt to get through the gate or knock it over (we’re surprised). It fit snugly even though our stair opening is 46 inches.
