Great Dental Additive
We have been using for over a year. I am on the subscription. I get a new 32oz bottle every 60 days. Works out perfect. I use a cap full with every water change, at least twice a day. Otis’ teeth and gum health are amazing. He has never had an issue with bad breath and this is for sure keeps it that way. My Vet recommended it to me, I 100% agree. You will save a few cents on the subscription but at full price it’s worth it!!!

This really works! I rescued a yorkipoo, he’s six yrs old and wasn’t taken care of. His teeth are brown at the top and his breath was disgusting. I mean almost unbearable. I was about to have his teeth enzymed. His vet said it’s painful and pricey. I bought this and literally the same day the bad breath was gone. GONE!!!! I couldn’t believe it. I put the recommended amount in my dogs water, none of my 3 dogs have bad breath anymore. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Is this truly safe, especially for long term use?
This product is not odorless. I can smell a chemical smell right away even if it is only the treated water that gets on my hands. I have to use soap to get it off. My dog prefers water not treated by it, but will drink the water if there is no other choice. She doesn’t seem to have any bowel upset or other side effects. I definitely think it helps her breath, but does not cure it. We still have to brush her every day. She does not have lots of plaque build up, just unusually bad breath. These treatments do reduce the smell. My biggest concern is if it is truly safe, especially for the long term. She is 7 and I don’t see myself dosing her with it everyday for the rest of her life. However, if I stop using it the bad smell returns. I am going to try the Arm and Hammer brand since it is similarly rated, but has natural ingredients.

We have two senior dogs with bad breath, we got this just as a trial but will be ordering more.For every litre, add four teaspoonsThis does not work over night, we started noticing results after the first two weeks, we can now sit on the sofa and when one pants there is very noticeable change on the smell from their breath.We have noticed some whitening of the teeth but accompanied with regular brushing will probably work wonders.Does this eliminate bad breath completely? I would doubt it but this product has made a tremendous improvement in our two senior dogs breath.Added bonus that our cats has started drinking from the bowl and does not seem to mindThere is a very faint smell but to be expected from a dental cleaning product…Overall, good purchaseGood value for moneyEasy to useGood sized bottle

Cleans dogs teeth as she doesn’t like her teeth brushed and Freshens breath. Give it about a week or two for it to fully work. Bit pricey but it works. Just add a capful too your dogs water.

No idea if it works yet, it only arrived today. BUT, had to get one neighbour to open the bottle as there’s no tab to remove the plastic AND THEN I had to get the other neighbour (old dude) to help me translate the measurements from OldMan-Yanky ounces to Ml 😬 After I’d measured, he told me that he thinks “their ounces” (yanky) are different from “his ounces” (old man). Errrrgggh! Oh my God, dogs, I don’t care if your breathe stinks after all that!

Unfortunately there must be something that is in the formula for tshi that made my dog very ill. She is an older lady (12 1/2 yrs) and is on levetiracetam and Phenobarbital for suspected lafora (She is a basset hound). After using this additive for a about 10 days, she went drastically downhill, to teh point that my vet who is also a best friend was talking about PTS. At this point I had stopped adding this to her water bowl and over the next few days she started coming back to herself. Obviously I cannot 100% be sure that this product was the cause but its teh only thing that has been different that she has access to. Maybe an ingredient was wholly incompatible with her medication?
