Love this book, love this series. Such a great and easy read for young readers. The illustrations are so cute and really make the characters come to life. Geoff and Banks are the sweetest characters and really help young children learn some great life lessons about friendship, acceptance, and courage.

Lightheartedly, thoughtfully, and adventurously written for families, children, community and school reads, and fur babies! Stunning, entertaining, and picturesque illustrated from beginning to end! I was thrilled to take another journey with Geoff and Banks. This is the latest of the trilogy and I just couldn’t put the book down. I am hopeful that Jillian Fanning continues pursuing her passion of writing children’s books. She is able to expand the vocabulary of her audience and has a true gift for captivating their hearts, whilst simultaneously teaching life long lessons.

Geoff and Banks continue to learn and grow on another whirlwind adventure! This book is an exceptional tool to teach kids perseverance, teamwork, and even bravery. The author’s choice of vocabulary is top notch! It’s easy enough for kids to read and understand independently, yet she provides strong and intriguing words that are likely to provoke the child to do further research in the science world! Beautiful to look at and learn from
I’m delighted that our favorite children’s books are now a complete trilogy! My five year old was counting the days until this one arrived. It’s so special how this book builds off the first two, with Geoff and Banks both out of their comfort zone as they explore a new place. I also thought the illustrations were especially vivid in this book and really brought the story to life. Who knew the desert could be so beautiful? It’s been so fun to teach my kids about big concepts like friendship with someone who is different from us and adventuring to new places and learning from other cultures. The way it’s done through animals is so clever and fun—a great way to explore these themes in a way that isn’t preachy. Not to mention learning about new environments through an animal’s perspective. Our family loves that there is a possibility of book 4. We can’t wait to explore the jungle alongside Geoff and Banks!
