Very bright, vivid colors
This is a great beginning “marker” for toddlers. The colors are really bright and beautiful and the size is perfect for little hands. These are also very durable which is a must for toddlers. Our little one doesn’t quite “draw” yet so the idea of stamping dots on the page to make a picture absolutely delights her. These are different from traditional colored markers in that they aren’t really markers, but rather a container of colored liquid with a sponge at the end. You need to take each one and press it to a piece of paper to get them “started.” Once the colored ink soaks the sponge, they are ready to go. You have to do this with each one and unfortunately, we found that we have to do this each time the little one wanted to color because the liquid does leave the sponge when not in use. These are great for making pictures with dots, or coloring a picture with dots, but not the greatest if you try to use them to draw. I scribbled a little on a piece of paper and the color does run out when used in this manner. Each marker has a screw top to keep the sponge from drying out. Our little one started with very random patterns just stamping them on paper and now she is actually stamping the dots within the lines of pictures in a very simple coloring book. What a great learning tool these are. We are really enjoying these.

Fun and good quality art supply
These dot markers work as expected. I had to get each marker started, but now my three year old son can use them all by himself. He often struggles with getting lids off but these are easy enough for him to do on his own. The dots are bright and fun. The foam pad on the front is good quality and produces good dots but doesn’t let my son fling ink by waving the markers around. Overall I am a fan of these markers and so us my three year old.

These are great for kids, although they can be a bit messy. Make sure you supervise younger ones and you’ll be good! I use these as bingo daubers. I love the colors. The ink flow is great. Good value!

Beautiful colors and easy to use for a 3 year old.Twist up the crayon and it seems like the Color stick lasts for ever. Very easy for a 3 year old to hold.

Not the worst, but not great either
Difficult to prime some of the colors. Some colors got saturated right away and made full dots really easy while others despite following the priming instructions just never seemed to get fully saturated enough to leave actually dots, but rather just rings. They also dry out quickly even with capping between uses so you have to re-prime them frequently. Storing them upside down seems like it would be helpful, but due to the rounded cap, you cant set them upside down unless you have a container to set them in to hold them in that position. Otherwise, the colors when saturated properly are vibrant. The bold clear color label is great for a learning kiddo for color identification as well as working with the for language develop. The size is perfect for little hands to work on motor skills with. Aside from being difficult to keep saturated for use, they are a good product especially for kids.

What a fun product!
These are awesome for my 1.5 year old who is too young to use markers but wants to do something other than color. They make coloring books for dot markers, but we love to use these on cardboard boxes and posterboard too! The colors are vibrant and it’s a fun way to introduce your toddler to markers and paint. They dry quickly, and come out easy in the wash. They are even fun for the parents to use!
