Nice Colors
After reading the other reviews and problems with some of the colors not working I kept an eye on what ones seemed to have the problem as I opened my set up. It seemed to be the same color ones that other had a problem with. I found it interesting that those colors had the color of the ink already soaked into the tip when it was first uncapped. The ones that didn’t have a problem working did not have any ink on tip when uncapped for the first time. This seems to prevent the metallic silver from flowing onto the tip. Also the clear part of the marker under the tip of the ones that didn’t want to work right (didn’t have any metallic silver) was full of the color of the ink (I tried to show this area in the photos). To get these ones working was a bit messy as I just used my finger. I recapped the pen and gave it a good shaking. After uncapping I pressed the tip down with my finger with the pen upright (tip facing up!) several times making sure all the ink that was in the clear part under the tip flowed back into the main body of the marker. Yes I did get the color on my finger but it did wash right off. There seemed to be 3 separate parts to this clear section. It took few times pushing the tip down to clear the color ink out. After the color was cleared out I then followed the directions on the box of pressing the tip on the paper to get the marker flowing. This then covered the tip in the metallic silver and the marker worked as it was supposed to. I found doing this with a marker that has stopped working right also seems to get it working right again. A lot of work to get a marker working? Yes it is.I also decided to try using the markers a little differently. I repaint dolls and had one sitting I had not done anything with yet. These markers are supposed to work on all kinds of things and be waterproof so this could work great for what I wanted to do. This turned into a fail. First I did test on paper using the darker pink, to make sure the marker was working. The doll I was trying was base coated in white. The marker came out a mix of purple-pink-silver-gray with no outline. I stopped a few times to test on the paper to make sure the marker was working and it was working fine. It was just not working on the doll. I was hopeful that it would being it was base coated in a white acrylic. I let it set for over 24 hours to make sure it was good and dry. I used the same white base acrylic paint to try and clean up my shaky edges and found the pink was smearing into the paint. Definitely not water proof! After waiting another two days (I had other things to get done) I tried spraying with a bit of water to see what would happen. not only did the pink run but so did the metallic silver leaving pink and dirty gray streaks.I do like how these markers work but they are not for young kids unless an adult is going to sit with them and make sure the markers are working. I did get some on my table and they came right off with a baby wipe. Same with my hands. I will stick to using them on paper only and with something underneath for the bleed through.

These markers are really pretty. They provide the perfect amount of sparkle too! There’s is a great amount of color options too to do a lot of fun things with! I’m a millennial who has entered my arts and crafts phase!

They actually are so cool when making cards
