I purchased this for my 2008 Ford Explorer. It has been installed for about a month now and is working fine. I give it a five star rating based on the combination of price, quality, and customer support. it works, and the color image is clear. It does the job and I feel much more confident when backing.Just a few observations. First, the instructions do not explain how to hook it up if you want to connect to your reverse lights to have it on it come on when backing up. It DOES include the wiring for that. I contacted customer support and they were quick to respond. Once I figured that out, it just took me about 90 minutes to complete instillation. Taking the panel off my back hatch door to complete the wiring was the most difficult part.The surface of my dashboard would not accommodate the suction cup, And I did not want to mountain on my windshield. But there is a small, recessed tray in the dashboard above the stereo with a smooth flat surface. I used the mounting bracket and attached it to that surface with Velcro.It also takes three or four seconds for the image to appear once the car is placed in reverse. A minor inconvenience. And initially, for just a brief moment, a stock image appears before the camera image.But for $40, I think it is a good deal. I don’t know how you can manufacture a color camera, color monitor, and wiring, then package and ship it for that amount. So again, the 5 star review considers all of these factors.FOLLOW UP: Six months later and it is still working very well. The image is better than the factory installed camera in my wife’s six year old Honda Odyssey.

Works great but NOT fisheye lens.
This camera was easy to install and the picture works great, but it is not a fisheye lens, which makes backing up close to items challenging. If you just want to see what is behind you, then this is great. If you want to backup close to something, this camera doesn’t make it easy. I never realized how valuable a fisheye lens was on a backup camera until I got this. Without the fisheye lens, you lose perspective on depth because you have no reference point. As a result, I had to point the camera down to get my rear bumper into the view so I could determine how close the rear of my truck is to the item I’m backing up to. I put this on a 2000 Ford F-150 and I needed to point the camera so far down that I had to put the camera bracket in front of my license plate, because it wouldn’t bend far enough if it were behind the plate. The result is that it looks ugly. Plus, the angle looking down at my rear bumper is such that in order for me to see my rear bumper and the object, the object is about 1 foot away from the bumper. If I want/need to get closer than a foot then I lose sight of the object and it’s all guesswork at that point. A fisheye lens would/does make it easier to get closer to something while backing up. Finally, the menu option is pretty worthless, but not a great loss. Overall I like it, but wish it were a fisheye lens.

Great camera quality easy to install
highly recommend super easy to install just connect to cigarette lighter and attach it to your plates. camera quality is clear can turn on and off easily by just pressing a red button. It comes with suction that hold pretty well so can be easily put on your dashboard.

Happy with my new back up camera 😁
I bought this brand because it had a good rating on line. It was really easy to put in. I used some split tubing for extra protection to the wiring. Just put the camera on my license plate. Used zip ties to attach wiring along the underneath of my truck. Used the small opening in the floor board to bring wiring into the truck. Plugged the plug into the cigarette lighter, voila push the button and I have a working backup camera. My husband was really surprised how wide the view was. Also how clear the picture was. Even drove it in some rain and spitting snow. Still great picture. Yes I am a woman, not a mechanic, yet I was able to install my camera within about an hour, including time to ad split tubing to the camera wire. For the price, ease of installation, great camera view…..this old Lady definitely recommends this back up camera.😁

Love it so much I bought a second but with the 4.3 inch monitor. ( I ordered it twice because amazon sent a pair of women’s shoes the first time) Let’s see if I get it this time.

It’s a $50 backup camera
So it’s a $50 backup camera I like the size of the display and the wire is extremely easy to run just make sure you have zipties if this is going on a truck just to keep the wire neat. in the daytime using strictly as a backup camera it works fine nothing fancy. But it’s also a $50 backup camera the display feels very cheap and if you want to use it as a rearview mirror which was the main reason i bought it for it falls way short during the day and unusable at night I almost never use it but it would be to much of a hassle to unwire the unit to send it back with all of that said if you want a plug and play BACKUP camera this is a pretty good deal however if you want it to use for a rearview mirror look else where this is definitely NOT a good choice. I uploaded a picture and then a video first part of the video is backing up at night and the second half is of driving at night. Just a heads up the screen looks better at night in the video then it does in real life

wa sent incomplete kit – the monitor was missing. No option of gettting the missing item or replacement. Only option was to return it. To accpet return I had to guaranytee that someone would be at my apartment from 8am to 23pm to hand over to collection person
