I have gone through several cameras over the years. This one compares favorably to all. It’s a really simple setup. Just go over the instructions a couple of times. Great pic & easy setup. Highly recommend. Short on battery life, but I just use mine to hook up a couple of trailers & it goes in the middle box in my truck or on the charger in my shop.

Works good – can use battery power pack to charge camera
Although the monitor placement may require a permanent location which is probably more stable than “suction cup” mounts, you have to decide where the mount will be placed “forever”. Of course, it could be used without a permanent mount but may more dificult to control. This is not a design failure.Camera has STRONG magnetic mount. Note. however, that it cannot be directly attached to aluminum. Something like a “Tough 1 Wire Frame Spray Bottle Holder” might help in this case for trailers.Camera charging CAN be done via sufficient battery power bank/pack. It only needs +5V (max of +24V).System works well and is very handy. It also has a simple yet effective design.

Great night vision with some latency
+ The camera and monitor were both super easy to install.+ Latency was noticeable but not unusable, I’d pop it from inside my trailer the the rear gate to back into tight spaces, about 1 full second of delay.-+ Very bright screen, great in daytime and a bit blinding at night until you turn down the brightness.+ VERY good night vision, could see great in my unlit trailer so I could monitor my pony on her way to another farm.~ I can’t comment on battery life as I use it only when pulling then plug it in to charge when I unload, definitely fine for up to 2 hours of power likely much more.100% a recommendation for anyone who’s uncomfortable backing a trailer due to visibility, anyone who’s found stock in unfortunate or dangerous position when opening the trailer or anyone curious of what their animals do on the road.

Works flawlessly with its intend monitor
I purchased EWAY Wireless Magnetic Hitch Backup Camera with 5” LCD Monitor Display for our Class B Sprinter van camper. I needed to see the boat trailer while driving. Our Sprinter camera only works when in reverse (there is a product that will change the internal computer for 350.00 but I didn’t want to mess with my Sprinter’s computer and forfeit my warranty plus this was less expensive). I was able to connect this unit to the metal inside the Sprinter van’s back door and have it look out the back window. I also put a safety strap on the camera to prevent it from falling if the magnet let loose. So far it has stayed in place. I can plug it in so it has a full charge for the entire trip (we usually travel 6-7 hours at a time). Without the camera being plugged in, the unit provided service for 4 hours. The picture quality was excellent for my needs and it never lost blue tooth connection with it’s monitor. It was comforting to ensure my kayaks were trailering well. BEWARE: I first purchased this unit without the monitor. It was suppose to work with my cell phone. Once received the instructions stated that this will NOT work with some Samsung cell phones. (huh…it only mentioned not working with Google pixel phones in the advertisements. ) I have a Samsung S10 and my husband has an S22. The app would not work with either…(when trying to download the specific app it stated device not supported) and would not download. So I sent it back and received a full refund and then ordered the unit with a monitor. PERFECT. It blue toothed immediately. A little more money but it works flawlessly. Does what I need AND it will not tie up my cell phone during our travel. Also the magnet is very strong and soft so it does not hurt the surface metal it’s connected to. Love this product. So far so good.

This is a great unit because the camera has a magnetic base and can be mounted on the bumper of your trailer without drilling any holes or providing power. The bumper mount gives great, wide-field views for backing up. It can be easily removed when not in use , and charged via usb c. The 5″ monitor mounts easily to the dash with a strong suction device, and is powered with an adapter that plugs into the trucks 12v outlet. Very versatile as it can be easily moved between vehicles and the camera can be mounted in a variety of places

This is perfect for watching my horses in the trailer. The magnet on the camera is strong. The auction for the viewing screen sticks to the windshield perfectly. Connection was great and easy to set up. The only downfall is that the screen needs to be plugged in to the lighter socket in order to work. It would be better if there was a way to charge the screen and use it without it being plugged in.
