For Whom the Belle Tolls
$0.99
From Hell’s Belles BookTok sensation Jaysea Lynn comes a hotter-than-hell romantasy about forbidden love, dark magic, and a young woman’s fiery adventure in the Afterlife, perfect for fans of Sarah A. Parker and Callie Hart.
They told her to go to Hell.
She went, but on her own terms.
Lily isn’t exactly thrilled with her arrival in the Afterlife, but what awaits her there is more fantastical than she ever could have imagined: Deities wait in line at the coffee shop. Fae flit between realms. Souls find ways to make death a beginning.
As she explores the many corners of the Afterlife, Lily finds herself surprisingly drawn to a place most people would avoid at all costs: Hell. Armed with years of customer service experience and pent-up sarcasm, Lily carves a job out for herself amongst Hell’s demons, sending souls to their rightful circles with more than a hint of sass.
Lily’s expectations are subverted every day in Hell—especially by Bel, a demon general with a distractingly sexy voice. The two meet by chance and form an immediate, deeply healing friendship, but the undeniable heat between them threatens to combust.
Meanwhile, something stirs beyond the boundaries of their world, threatening to destroy everything they’ve known and everything that could be…unless they fight like Hell to stop it.
This debut novel from BookTok sensation Jaysea Lynn invites you to lose yourself in a world where love ignites in the unlikeliest of places, magic defies the rules, and the Afterlife proves more thrilling than anyone could imagine.

A Masterpiece of Emotion and Storytelling
I truly have no words to fully capture my love and adoration for From Whom the Belle Tolls by Jaysea Lynn! I first discovered the Hells Bells series through TikTok, like so many others, and instantly connected with its heartfelt soul and character-driven narrative. Watching the series evolve over time deeply resonated with me, helping me work through personal challenges and mental health struggles. When I heard this book was being developed, I was beyond excited, but it still managed to exceed all my expectations. The storyline is excellent, the emotional depth is masterfully portrayed, and the character interactions are nothing short of magical. I found myself squealing with delight, kicking my feet in happiness, and laughing out loud as beloved characters were introduced and their relationships unfolded on the page.I always wondered how the “Hellp Desk” came to be, and getting to see Lily’s journey in the afterlife as she dealt with her own trauma by helping others and creating the Desk was absolutely incredible. It was written so beautifully and felt so real. Lily and Bel’s relationship had me hooked the entire time—I was on the edge of my seat watching them navigate their emotions and challenges. And can we talk about Greggles? I’m so excited to see how his story progresses in the next book alongside [Spoiler]!This book brought me on an emotional rollercoaster—moments of joy, tears, and even moments where I was laughing and crying at the same time. The additional layers of backstory and world-building it provides, especially compared to the original Hells Bells series, added a whole new dimension of understanding and appreciation.Even if you’re new to the Hells Bells universe, this book stands completely on its own. The world-building is so rich and immersive that you don’t need any prior knowledge to enjoy it—but if you do know the series, you’ll have even more fun recognizing the character introductions and their interactions.I hope this review encourages others to dive into this incredible book and check out the original TikTok series as well. It’s such an amazing journey, and I’m so grateful to have experienced it. I can’t wait to see where the story goes next!

Worth the wait & So. Much. More.
It made me laugh and cry and grieve more than I thought possible – in the best ways. I’m so amazed to have read something so interesting and profound yet funny and romantic and incredibly sexy! If I could give this 10 stars, I would.Lily’s story is so inherently similar to how many of us young women feel as we’ve grown and matured in this crazy world. Her strength in adversity and how she handles her insecurities is truly inspiring. Her character is so strong that it makes it easy to root for her. To cry for her. To laugh with her. I can only speak for myself. – Religion is hard. It’s a hard subject, it’s hard to understand, and overall it’s hard to believe in sometimes. ‘For Whom the Belle Tolls’ makes me want to believe.I have been a long time lover of fantasy – fae, magic, angels & demons alike, grasping for my sense of wonder in the universe. This book takes care in its unity, threading all deities and religions into this beautiful world that I could see myself wishing for at my inevitable end. I’ve always struggled to grasp one true religion and I’m incredibly grateful to have experienced this beautiful work. I am honestly speechless!I’ve watched Jaysea on TikTok the last few years, following along her Hell’s Belle’s series and the characters she’s made with heartbreaking, and heartwarming backgrounds, and it has been deeply cathartic. I’m in awe of the beauty of the book she has made from these stories and so incredibly excited to see more!

An Instant Classic
I got this book as I was a fan of Jaysea’s TikTok series. I’d only watched it well into the story, so I wasn’t sure how it all started, but I knew I wanted to support her any way I could. The world she has created makes me hope that the real afterlife is just like this. The characters are very well fleshed out, the story is riveting, the love scenes passionate, but this story isn’t about death. it’s about love and living. This book made me laugh, made me cry, touched me so deeply, and made me ugly cry. I really felt like I was there, a part of the story. This book is magical, very well written, and filled with characters that feel very real. Seriously one of the best books I’ve ever read, thank you so much Jaysea for the gift of this story. I am so looking forward to the next one in the series. Thank you so much for being my new favorite author.

As a follower of Hell’ Belle’s and Jaysea Lynn on TT i had to get this book as soon as it came out.I’ve already read it 3 times before i made this review. I love the Hellpdesk shenanigans on TT. I really loved to read the begin story of Lily and Bel and Sharkie of course. And i am really looking forward to the next book and read more about Penny and the others that are to come.

This was the first romance-based novel I’ve ever read, and honestly, I think the whole genre is (lovingly) ruined for me now. Not only was the romance the healthiest and most believable I’ve read in a book yet, the world and plot were so beautiful and solid that I almost forgot the genre. Lily and Bel are so incredibly sweet and good for each other, and Sharkie is both adorable and hilarious. The worldbuilding is absolutely incredible too. The depiction of the afterlife, something that is incredibly difficult to write in a non-polarizing way, was done beautifully and covers all bases. I know this book was based on a series from TikTok, and reading it might be enough to get me to finally download the app, if only to see what happens next. When and if the next book is released I will be first in line!

Definitely worth the read!

Having followed Jaysea on TikTok for a few years, and was there to witness the birth of the Hellp Desk skits, I quickly subscribed to her Patreon, and devoured the first draft of this book as it was being written. I bought this yesterday and finished it in the early hours of this morning. The world building in this novel is one of the most imaginative, and comforting imaginings of what the afterlife would be like. The characters are easy to fall in love with, and the storyline is beautiful. It’s very well written (it’s hard to believe this is a debut novel) and easy to read, so much so that you can delve into it and not realise that you’ve lost hours to this book. There are several sex scenes that get spicy, but aren’t exactly integral, so if that isn’t your thing you can skip them and you lose nothing of the actual story.I think it’s important to give a content warning for child abuse (which is included in the preface). This is handled so well, so respectfully, and it’s important to note, is not gratuitously there for the sake it.Very imaginative, plenty of funny moments, and a lot of heartbreaking and poignant moments that make you well up. This has been my ultimate comfort book for some time now, and in it’s final published edition, it’ll remain so for a long, long time.
