    My favorite Kindle by far!
I’m SO happy that I decided to bite the bullet and purchase the Kindle Scribe! I was apprehensive at first because of the price knowing that I have the iPad which has more features. Although it’s nice reading and not being distracted by messages and notifications like you get on an iPad etc.Pros:There’s no glare when reading. My eyes get tired now with working on a laptop most of the day and then reading on a screen such as the iPad the glare bothers my eyes. Not this kindle! I can read for a lot longer times like inside to be able to do!The note taking feature is amazing! I love the “feel” of writing on paper when you aren’t. My plan is to use this at church for taking notes so I don’t have to keep buying journals and pens, and this is much lighter in my Bible bag! I LOVE how the fountain pen writes! my only concern is, as I haven’t had this long enough to use at church yet, is how many notes I can have alongside my books before the 64 gb fill up….but I think I can print the notes or send them to word or something, I’ll have to research that.I’ve had the original Kindle and the oasis. The regular of course is more outdated now and the Oasis was nice that it was small enough to fit in my purse, but my eyes aren’t getting much better so I would have to have the font rather big to where there was just a sentence or two on one page and third wasn’t the reading experience I enjoy. This Kindle Scribe is just the right size, in my opinion! Some have said it’s too big but I think it’s just the right size. And it’s so light! I have a case on it, which added a bit more weight, but it’s still light enough to handle easily.Cons:There’s only con I have, and it’s not a deal breaker, is that they don’t have colors as a choice for the pen to be able to write in different colors. This would be nice for journaling and drawings…..but maybe that will be a later edition! 😊

Excellent Integration of Reading & Writing!
I was hesitant to get the Scribe when it was first released, but took the plunge on this recent update and am glad I did. Of course the large screen is wonderful, especially for us older readers. What has really happily surprised me is the notes features. Writing on this is effortless and the responsiveness is smooth as butter. I also own the latest generation iPad with the new pencil pro, but much prefer the writing experience on the Scribe. To me this is much closer to writing on paper, and I love the included variety of layouts for notes, from wide and narrow ruled pages, to dotted and bulleted and more. The AI features do require WiFi connection, but that’s par for the course and not a limitation in my opinion, maybe some folks aren’t fully knowledgeable about how AI works. As for the AI performance, so far it’s done a prefect job of translating my poor handwriting into neatly typed text. When reading I find it much easier to use the pen to look up words and highlight text. The accuracy is much better than using my finger. The pen will attach to the Scribe magnetically, but I purchased a case with an elastic pen holder. From past experience the magnetic attachment is a good way to lose your pen. There are plenty of choices for cases and covers and the nice thing is this new Scribe still has the same dimensions, so the original cases will fit it perfectly.

Returning remarkable pro and Loving Amazing Kindle Scribe
I originally purchased the Remarkable Pro, but after using it for about a week, I experienced pixel issues and had to return it. Unfortunately, the customer service support was disappointing during the whole returning process. That’s when I discovered the Kindle Scribe, and I decided to give it a try. Despite being smaller than the Remarkable Pro, I immediately felt it was the perfect size for me.1) The writing experience on the Kindle Scribe is incredibly smooth and soft, unlike the Remarkable Pro, where writing produces a tapping noise and feels harder.2)The Kindle Scribe offers a much softer, quieter experience that feels natural and enjoyable. The reading experience is also absolutely amazing. As someone who reads a lot of ebooks related to my field, the Kindle Scribe has been a game-changer. The display quality is excellent, and the lighting options are far superior to the Remarkable Pro, with a great variety of adjustments to suit different environments.3)Another major factor is cost—I got the Kindle Scribe for nearly $300 less than the Remarkable Pro, and I pre-ordered it two months ago. The value it offers for the price is outstanding.4)On top of that, Amazon’s customer service is exceptional, far better than what I experienced with Remarkable.5)When I first got the Remarkable Pro, my reaction was, “That’s it?” It didn’t wow me, and after just two days of use, I found myself wanting to return it. I kept using it out of necessity, but when the pixel problems occurred, I finally returned it without hesitation. On the other hand, my first impression of the Kindle Scribe was pure excitement—it felt amazing right from the start. Writing on it feels soft and effortless, and reading is an absolute pleasure. It’s a truly versatile and well-designed device.I am so grateful to Amazon for creating this amazing tool. It has completely elevated both my reading and writing experiences. If you’re considering a Remarkable Pro, I would strongly recommend trying the Kindle Scribe instead.
