This is my new favorite brand of pencils for sketching and drawing with. I love that the different pencils include a range of levels from the graphite grading scale. Some of their kits even come with different colors of lead, depending on what you order. Everything comes in a nice little carrying case that fits in my bag for easy travelling, because you never know where inspiration is going to hit you. The case is about the size of my smaller sketchbooks, so it’s also pretty compact. I will definitely be buying more from this brand in the future, but there’s enough lead refills that I think it will be a while before I am out.

Considering the price, these are lasting me the entire school year and more, I didn’t expect it to come with as much as it did. I’m pretty critical of my precious mechanical pencils so I’m pleasantly pleased with the quality.If you doodle too these are very nice, they come with a few different kinds of graphite and write with different hardness/softness which is super good for anyone who takes their doodles seriously lol (Shading especially) Coming from a hardcore doodler you’d probably enjoy these!😅EDIT:The 2.0 pencil is no longer reliable, have to do it manually now. I also ordered a new pencil set from Nic Pro and it’s honestly sad how much better the new kit is lol. Still great for the price but if you can spend 25$ I recommend one of their other products. I also reviewed those and its a night and day difference between my two reviews… Should be under my profile if you want to look at the other product.

Good variety of different size mechanical pencils with all the extras needed
High quality set with lots of mechanical pencils, extra leads and erasers at a very good price. I especially like the #2 pencils with lead sharpener as I have not seen these locally. The case is a little hard to open but I don’t see how it could pop open if dropped. Overall very satisfied.

Excellent beginners pack
This kit is an excellent pack for people starting their journey with graphite illustration or drawing. I picked this up because I didn’t pack my normal drafting kit, and have been very happy with it.Pros:The pencils all feel good in the hand, are responsive and stable. The vinyl erasers work well on decent paper and do not catch. The leads draw quite smoothly, sharpen nicely and erase cleanlyCons:Sharpeners: ditch the razors and get a proper lead grinder for the 2mm leads, It will save you a ton of mess. Stadler makes a great barrel grinder that is fairly cheap.Lead is fairly fragile at extreme sharpness but is resilient enough at normal levels, over all it is strong enough to do super fine detail workas long as you have a light hand.The beziel that indicates the type of lead on the mechanical pencils ( .5, .7, .9) has only HB as an option.The 2mm lead holders a very light owing to the plastic body but they are sturdy.2mm lead holders bezel indicates only 2B – 2H hardness. It’s enough for this kit and includes some (B and H) that are not included.This kit lacks a kneeled eraser and gum eraser, which is absolutely essential when working with graphite. But that is a fairly easy addition.Over all I would highly recommend this kit for any beginner or people who need an cheap stop-gap kit.Update: couple months in and this kit is now part of my regular equipment for at home. The lettering paint on the pencil bodies has worn away but otherwise they are going strong. If you are gentle with them they will last a decent while. And the leads provided are quite decent. A couple of easy modifications or additions can take care of the previously mentioned shortcomings. Over all very happy with the purchase.
