This little piece of tech has changed my life. I’m genuinely not sure what to say. No other piece of tech I have tried including uber expensive smart watches compare to the Oura ring. I have awful chronic insomnia, my thorough research and recommendations from others led me to this.Highly accurate algorithmic monitoring for sleep, activity, stress, resilience, vitals, built in meditations, quick charging, multi-day battery, easy connectivity, ad infinitum. In my two year experience, the ring does everything Oura advertises and more. The ring quantifiably proved the pharmaceutically mediated insomnia therapy is working, I’d rather be holistic but nothing works and the ring proved that to the numerous cynically skeptical specialists and psychs. *Chef’s kiss*

So functional!
I’ve had the Oura ring for a month now and I love it so much! I had wanted this ring since it first came out but could never afford it. Now that you can use your FSA/HSA, it is possible. Since I used mine, I went with my favorite color rose gold. The color itself is gorgeous but not a true rose gold. It’s more of a true gold. Doesn’t matter because it’s beautiful and so functional. I look forward to waking up and checking my stats on the app. It is so accurate too! I thought I was getting a bit sick one day and it told me to take it easy so it picked up on the changes within my body. The sleep tracking is what I mainly got the ring for. I have trouble tossing and turning all night and this ring picks up on my sleep cycles. It will give suggestions of when you should go to sleep to get a better night’s rest. It is pretty comfortable to sleep with as well. Doesn’t bother me at all.Choosing the right size of ring is very important. Since our fingers do tend to swell in our sleep and with the weather. I recommend sizing up. I usually wear a size 8 but with the sizing kit, I found I had to size up to a 9. Even when my finger has swelled, it’s not uncomfortable at least for me.I have seen a lot of people being put off on the monthly subscription. Although it would be nice not to have to pay for one, I don’t mind it.As far as the work out option, I haven’t gotten a chance to test it. I do feel it needs better options to choose from with the workout options they have. If it were more like the options on my Apple Watch, it would make it even better. I also feel the period tracking could be better. It’s very basic. Just lets you choose a start date and your flow. This is what I wish Oura could put more effort into tweaking on the app. Its period predictability is pretty spot on. But why should we have to use a separate app if we want to get a more detailed breakdown of our menstrual cycle?I know there are other competitors with more reasonable pricing but Oura really is the way to go. I was able to easily put in my order here and got it the next day! Don’t order through the Oura site though. I had an order on their site that was taking forever to get any updates on my order and as it turns out, they were so backed up because they were busy fulfilling their Amazon contract. So just cancelled with them and ordered here and it worked out. If you’re debating on getting one, just do it!

Seems Accurate
I’ve been wearing my Oura ring every day and night for a little over 3 months and it seems very accurate. I’m usually skeptical of wearable monitoring devices, but often try them nonetheless, so I use several different ones, along with non-wearable, more accurate monitors to compare reliability. The Oura seems to be spot on with my sleep, stress, and activity. It’s always detected my naps and routine “workout” activities (I created a label for my strenuous every day activities). Those are really the only stats I look at. Battery life is pretty good (mine usually needs charging nearly every 3-4 days). It’s very stylish and comfortable. I like the pulse ox and heart monitors as well. It works very well with the Apple Health app and integrates seamlessly. The Oura App is also very well designed and functions perfectly. I have not been very careful with my ring—I‘ve dropped it twice on a hard tile floor and I also wear it while working with power tools and while doing light construction/carpentry/craft work and it has held up exceptionally well. I also have worn it while washing my hands, but take it off during bathing/showering. When I first purchased it, I wore a silicone ring over it for protection, but it was too bulky. Overall, I am very happy with this tracker and would definitely recommend it. I love the sleep tracking with my Apple Watch, but sadly, it needs to be on the charging dock at night, so that feature is pretty useless for me. The Oura, however, is perfect.

Great Health Tracker, but Sleep Detection Needs Improvement
I’ve been using the Oura Ring Gen3 Horizon for a while now, and overall, I’m really impressed. It’s sleek, comfortable, and barely noticeable on my finger. The health tracking features—especially heart rate, activity, and readiness scores—are insightful and help me stay on top of my wellness. The battery life is also great, lasting about 4-5 days on a single charge.However, one issue I’ve noticed is that the sleep tracking isn’t always accurate. If I’m lying in bed using my phone before sleep, the ring sometimes assumes I’m already asleep, which slightly skews my sleep data. Also, it doesn’t detect naps in my car. It would be great if this could be improved in future updates.Aside from that, it’s an excellent wearable for anyone looking for a health tracker. Definitely worth considering!

Comento, que éste anillo Oura ring 3 es una maravilla. Está vinculado vía bluethoot a mí iPhone, con su app Oura. Llevo unas semana usándolo casi las 24 hrs que dura el día, solo lo cambio de dedo porque a veces es incómodo por el tiempo que lleva en un mismo dedo…. Sus métricas son más exactas que el Apple Watch Ultra 2. Estoy feliz de tener un anillo Oura ring, que me diga características de mí persona que desconocía. Es lo que me hubiera gustado encontrar en una reseña para decidirme a comprarlo. Espero que les ayude.

Ich benutze den OURA Gen3 Horizon Smart Ring jetzt seit drei Monaten und bin wirklich beeindruckt von seiner Leistung und seinem Komfort. Die Akkulaufzeit ist fantastisch. Ich lade ihn nur einmal pro Woche auf, was ihn deutlich weniger anspruchsvoll macht als viele andere Wearables. Er fügt sich problemlos in meinen Alltag ein, ohne zur Last zu werden.Der Ring selbst ist etwas klobig, aber daran habe ich mich ziemlich schnell gewöhnt. Er ist trotz seiner Größe leicht und nach einer Weile bemerkt man kaum noch, dass man ihn trägt. Ich habe die silberne Version gewählt und obwohl es nach täglichem Gebrauch ein paar kleine Kratzer gibt, sind diese kaum sichtbar, es sei denn, man schaut ganz genau hin. Das Finish sieht immer noch elegant und stilvoll aus, was den Ring sowohl zu einem modischen Accessoire als auch zu einem funktionalen Tracker macht.Ich empfehle dringend, vor dem Kauf das Größenset zu nutzen. Es war unglaublich hilfreich, um die richtige Größe auszuwählen. Before we get into it, this is HEALTH tracker, not a fitness tracker. Yes it can track workouts but if you intend to use it for this, it should be restricted to cardio workouts, or any workouts that don’t involve gripping things with your hands. If functionality with regards to tracking strength based workouts is your thing, you may best be suited by a wrist based wearable.Looks wise, this is a beautiful example of engineering. Oura have always made beautiful pieces of technology. I purchased the brushed titanium horizon model and it’s absolutely stunning from a wearable point of view.I daily this as my main wearable along with an Apple Watch Ultra for tracking gym workouts (I wear ‘dumb’ watches on a daily when not working out) but personally I find the functionality and the simplicity of the ring is just second to none. If you are looking for a wearable that provides accurate data (backed by studies), doesn’t constantly distract you with notifications or reminders, and just blends in to your daily routine, then I think this wearable is for you.Value for money wise, it would be easy to say that this isn’t the best value proposition out there. Other wearables provide the same form factor and, perhaps more importantly, doesn’t come at the cost of a monthly subscription to access the granular data offered by the Oura ring and app. (Although personally I think the £69.99 total cost for the yearly membership option isn’t too bad when you consider whoop is more than double the cost).Personally for me the value for money for the Oura ring, with the granular data it offers, the quality of the ring itself, along with a simply beautifully designed app to complement the ring itself, is there and that’s why I’ve given this five stars. I’ve found it to be as accurate, if not more accurate when it comes to sleep tracking compared to my Apple Watch and it is far, far better at detecting naps or cardio activity compared to the Apple Watch. The only issue I would say in this department is that calorie burn and steps seem to be a weak point for the ring (but any wearable that tracks either of these metrics are wildly inaccurate for the most part)
