Great camera, great value
I recently installed the Yakry Y27 Wireless RV Backup Camera System on my RV, and I’ve been really impressed with its performance. The installation was surprisingly easy, especially since my RV was already pre-wired for a Furrion system—the included bracket and pigtail wire made the process smooth. The dual-antenna design keeps the signal strong, and the image on the 7-inch monitor is crisp and clear, even at night, thanks to the night vision feature. I was a little concerned that the screen might be too big for my setup, but it actually works well for me. For the price, this system is a fantastic deal, offering reliable performance without breaking the bank. If you’re looking for a solid backup camera for your RV, I’d definitely recommend this one!

Flawless, sturdy unit. Impressive display quality SEE PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
I have installed a number of back up cameras on various vehicles. Until now, none really had any decent resolution. This time, I decided to spend a few more dollars for a unit with excellent reviews. One of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. Installation was a snap, and as soon as I powered up the camera and the display screen, they seemed to instantly pair with each other with no further action on my part. The view is very wide angle, which is desirable for a rear view camera. Best, though, the quality of the display is amazingly crisp and color true.I asked the seller to provide the second camera as stated in the listing (i’ll have one unit on my truck’s tailgate, mostly for lining up trailer hitch, and the other on the rear of my RV trailer). The second camera came with all attachments within a matter of days, free, including shipping.Communication with the vendor was quick and professional. The units themselves (both camera and screen display) have a very hefty, confident feel to them, not at all like most of the cheesy plastic units out there.———————————————————————— UPDATE MARCH 2021As stated in the listing, the vendor will provide a FREE second camera upon request after you receive your initial order. I planned on using one camera (with a strong magnet mounted on the back) as temporary use when connecting my truck and RV trailer together. The second one will be mounted on the rear of my RV trailer. However, I had a hell of a time getting the second camera to pair. The vendors were responsive to my questions, but still it took 5-6 emails over a period of 7-10 days to finally get it resolved. There may be an easier way, but these are the step-by-step instructions I employed to finally get both cameras paired to the display unit:PAIRING INSTRUCTIONSThe pairing has to be done for a designated Channel/Camera .There are 4 possible channels.. if you press the CH button on the display unit, it will show the channel (camera?) number selected in upper LH corner. The initial camera comes paired, of course, with the channel 1. If you try to pair the second camera while channel 1 is being displayed, that camera over-writes the pairing for that position, so that the original camera is now no longer recognizable. Here’s the step-by-step process that worked for me:1) Make sure both cameras and display screen are powered ON (If cameras are plugged into vehicle or RV wiring, then this means turning on your “running lights” to provide power2) Press Menu, then +/- to highlight the CAMERAS menu.. Turn OFF cameras 3 and 4 so your display will only cycle between cameras 1 and 2 (This takes some fiddling, but eventually you’ll figure it out)3) Once out of the Menu, the originally supplied camera’s output should be displayed on the screen, with CH 1 displayed in upper LH corner4) Press CH once so that CH 2 is displayed in LH corner. The screen should show “No Signal”5) Press Menu, then OK while the PAIRING menu is highlighted6) The “Pairing” countdown will begin.. as soon as it does, disconnect the power to the target camera for 3-4 seconds, then plug it back in before countdown finishes7) If all goes well, you will now see the output of camera 2 displayed on the screen8) Press the CH button to toggle between the two camera displays9) Once paired, both cameras should come alive when powered up with no further future pairing required.10) Note that in the menu you can choose different screen presentations.. for example you can choose to have both cameras displayed on 1/2 half screen, side by side, or just one camera at a time, chosen by pressing the CH button

Excellent Rearview RV Camera and Monitor
I ordered this Yakry Y28 rear view camera kit to start our third season of camping with our travel trailer. We are currently a few weeks and 800 miles into our 2-month Spring trip and so have been very pleased with the Yakry camera and display. The camera was easy to install on the back of our trailer using the mounting bracket, power adapter, and screws provided in the kit. The Yakry camera bracket fit perfectly on the existing Furrion Sharkfin mount. I also made a simple plywood baseplate for the monitor that sits securely in the recessed area of our Silverado 1500’s dash. The display provided excellent visibility to the traffic behind the trailer and made lane changes so much easier and safer than just depending on the side mirrors. The monitor always kept very stable connectivity with the camera. The only design improvement that I would like to see would be to add an optional hood for the camera to provide extra protection during heavy rainstorms. We did drive through several storms and the camera lens would occasionally get completely covered by rainwater that blocked all visibility.

Clear wireless videos and easy installation
I purchased and installed the Yakry Y28 system. It included two cameras, one 7-inch monitor, and various mounting and installation accessories. I mounted one camera on the back of my 25-foot camper and the other camera on my pick up truck rear bumper. Both cameras face backward. The camper camera easily attached to the camper camera mount using the adapter plate that came with the kit.One thing I like about this system is that the video signals sent from cameras to the monitor are wireless. This made installation much simpler since I didn’t have to install video wiring. You do need to install power wiring to each camera. The camper camera wiring was simple since a wire to connect to is included in the camper camera mount. For the pick up truck wiring I just tapped into the taillight wiring. The Yakry kit even included wire connectors. The Yakry kit includes multiple mounting options for the monitor: suction cup to windshield, adhesive mount to top of dash, or screw mount to dash. The kit includes everything you need for each mounting option. I went with adhesive pad mount. It is very sticky and sturdy. The monitor is not going anywhere. My monitor is 40 feet from the camper camera. It is a clear steady picture. I have never lost the signal. The monitor has views for four different cameras in case you want to add two cameras in future. The included instructions on how to navigate through different monitor settings could use some improvement. But there are several You Tube videos that you can watch to help.Overall I am very happy with the system. Price was VERY reasonable. Installation was relatively simple for me but I would say I am mechanically inclined. If you are not you might want to get some help. Monitor picture is excellent.

I purchased the Yakry Y27-LSH back up camera system from Amazon Canada last July. I have waited to review the system until I had taken our Class B motorhome for a trip. I had the camera system installed by my mechanic. He said it was easy to put in and worked right away. The camera is mounted on the right rear door near the license plate and provides a sharp, clear and jitter free image totally covering the blind spots at the rear. The monitor is mounted on the dash near the radio. The large image is bright and clear even at night. Parallel parking was much easier. I felt more confident and reassured when backing up as there are no blind spots. Backing out of a spot in a Costco parking lot was still a cautious procedure, but I could see the traffic, both people and cars, clearly.I am really pleased with the unit. It is well made, works very well and does what I want. I am looking forward to using this system for years.

Have installed this system on and in my horsebox – rear view and interior view. Picture quality is outstanding- bright, colours real and swap between infrared and normal is instant. Easy to install, good functionality and means I can see what’s coming up behind me. And the camera lens clears rain etc quickly. My only comment is that the twin camera view is in portrait so side by side which limits it a bit. Am checking to see if Landscape is possible – if not am suggesting to the company that this may be an option to have . Otherwise this is the best system I’ve seen and highly recommend it…oh and real value for money !!!!
