Not stretchy
These are adorable and they feel like they are great quality (thicker than I anticipated). However, the fabric has no real stretch to it. I bought them for my 3.5mo old daughter who is chunky (she was about 18lbs at the time I got them). Ordered 12mo size and these are still too tight for her. Would work for slender babies, but unfortunately we will have to put ours in the hand-me-down box.

Fits loose on baby that is in between a 9 month and 12 month so this really is true to size 12 month. Very soft and comfortable on the baby. We always love Carter’s clothing.
