Sketchers are getting better at support for the feet, Honestly when their first work line dropped, they were horrible and I avoided them for years. I don’t have heel or general support pain from these and I’m on my feet ten hours a day at work. I feel like I’ve worn them long enough to say that. You know how work shoes are, takes a month or two to really tell. Big improvement from years ago. The top part across my feet isn’t the best though. It’s not super tight but it is too snug on the top especially where the material ends. It;s not painful but not comfortable. When I wore them new it was worse.

Very good shoes
I had other slip resistant shoes from a previous job however they weren’t waterproof. I currently work in a restaurant and am on my feet for multiple hours a day and needed something that I feel comfortable in and these did the trick. The slip on design also makes it easy to get on when I leave to go to work and throughout the day since I don’t have to worry about laces coming undone and becoming a trip hazard. They are also very comfortable which is a big plus because like I said I’m on my feet for multiple hours sometimes up to 13 hours. I also trust the brand name that is Skechers. I would definitely buy these shoes again

Not for folks with very narrow feet
I liked the way the shoe felt and looked but if you have very narrow feet your heel will slip in this shoe. The length of the shoe is true to size but is just too wide.

So far so good for restaurant work
I work at least 40 hours a week entirely on my feet in a restaurant and I’ve had these about 2 weeks now and I’m impressed. Fit is perfect and they’re very comfortable even for double shifts on my feet all day. I prefer this kind of support which is more flat versus running shoe type support. This feels more natural to me and I’m better balanced. Definitely waterproof and not bad looking.The real test will come after nightly exposure to the harsh floor cleaning chemicals we use that always ate up my previous work shoes and separated the soles from the tops. I will try to update this review in a couple of months after I see how they hold up. But so far, so good. Definitely a great value for high quality work shoes.

Soft and my feet don’t hurt compared to regular safety shoes

These shoes are awesome. The material is very soft and feels like leather. The insides are very comfortable, while the inner sole is not super supportive if you are heavyweight like me, but for an average guy, I’m sure it will provide good support. I am going to use a gell support sole anyway.The upper material is nearly indestructible. It protected my feet from hot water, oil and even a few tool drops.The out sole is grippy and feels confident while walking on kitchen floor. Spilled oil or water never caused me any problems. It did slip inside our walk-in freezer, but there was some thin ice build up on the floor that day; usually I can walk inside the freezer comfortably.The lip may feel a bit hard initially, but it becomes soft after a couple of days like any new shoe. The outer sole gets a lot of debris stuck in which is a chore cleaning out. But I guess the slip-resistant surface is just doing its job.Highly recommended for work.
