A perfect gift to learn about money
I bought this book for my nephew because I think it’s super important for kids and teens to learn how to manage money from a young age. I was surprised at how clear and entertaining it is. It explains basic things like the difference between what we want and what we really need, as well as giving tips on how to save and invest. It has stories and activities that make it very easy to understand. I loved that at the end of each chapter there is a summary with key points. Definitely a great gift for any young person.

Great For Kids New to Money Management
This Smart Money Smart Kids book is written in a way that kids ages 9 to 12 (and even older kids), can really understand well. It breaks down concepts with kid friendly examples and has important summary points and fun activities too. This is a great book to get a head start on basic money management skills for my 10 and 13 year old.

    Great Intro to Money
This book is great at explaining money concepts in a way that’s easy for kids to understand. The activities and lessons at the end of each section make it easier to understand and apply the concepts. I got this to help my 5-year-old get started, and while it’s aimed at older kids, a lot of ideas can be adjusted to fit younger ones too. Great resource for teaching smart money habits early!

    Start Teaching Kids Early
This book is upper elementary and older kid friendly. It has manageable advice for kids to learn and apply. It includes earning money, including entrepreneurship. It also discusses saving money and the importance of opening a savings account. My favorite chapter is about giving back and teaching kids the importance of giving back starting at a young age.

How to Teach Children How to Respect and Handle Money
In this book, the author starts from the basics and explains to the teenagers who are reading the book. What money is why we need money, where it comes from, how do you get it, and what can you do to make it?These are all important concepts that everyone has to deal with. She moves into entrepreneurship using a lemonade stand as an example and then moves to more sophisticated entrepreneurship for children to move into. This is a very good idea because, generally speaking, this means more money, more entrepreneurship on the road, and more working for an hourly wage. This book also explains to children how to save money and how savings allow you to buy larger items rather than just a lot of small things. It also talks about budgeting and spending plans. This is an excellent book to help children learn how to manage their financial assets. I even know some adults who could use this book. The author discusses financial goals that could be set for things that you need in life.

Great book for kids and parents alike
This is a fantastic book that parents can use to teach their kids about money. It surprisingly goes into more than just the basics and gives great actionable advice kids can implement directly. There are great activities within the chapters as well that keeps it engaging and fun. The book doesn’t overwhelm or get too verbose which is great for parents needing help with teaching their kids about money. Great book.

    Right on the money!
This succinct and practical book is one that all kids should have in their educational arsenal. It is not simply informative, but correctly adds to the overall idea that we are the masters of our own destinies. When we can do things like manage and control our finances, it empowers us to do the same with all other aspects of our lives – including managing emotions such as deciding to be happy with our station in life. And to change things if we prefer another kind of existence. 5 strong stars!
