Well done
awesome. the dough and sauce recipes are worth the price of admission, and there is great detail in every step of the pizza making process. a great buy or gift for the seasoned pizza maker or someone just starting out. this is years and years of work and research and money all distilled into a crash course on the new york slice. It feels very personal, like you made friends with the owner and he decided he liked you enough to teach you everything he has ever learned before he retires. a must own.

If you want to make pizza, buy this book!
I’ve made scratch pizza for decades using various recipes and pizza books. This is the best pizza cookbook I’ve seen. It’s also the most interesting. Recipes are clearly written and work perfectly.

Filled with pages not related to pizza making.
I returned this cookbook. Approximately 1//3 of the book are blank blue pages or non- food pictures not related to pizza making.Cookbooks should be filled with recipes with their pictures. Not worth the cost.

Very Disappointing
Returned after one day. Very basic pizza recipes with nothing new or different. Better pizza books out there.

Wish you could have a slice of true NYC perfection but don’t have the vacation time or frequent flier miles for a trip out East? Well, The Scarr’s Pizza Cookbook will help you satisfy the craving.Sharing all his tricks for pizza success—including milling your own flour which is easier than it sounds—Scarr Pimentel offers a step-by-step guide to getting it right. Whether it’s mastering a Sicilian Dough to decoding what makes his traditional pizza sauce so addictive, all the secrets are here. And if you want to expand your repertoire beyond pizza, there are recipes for the foccacia, meatballs, and garlic knots of your dreams. The Psyche Summer Salad is another recipe I can’t wait to try when it’s too hot to want to fire up the oven.4 Color Books provided me with a free copy of this book; the opinions are my own.

This could have been a blog.
This cookbook should have been a blog. It’s advertised as having 30 recipes, but in reality, there are a handful of pizza recipes and fillers like “red sauce.” I had to flip through dozens of random photos, before even getting to a recipe. To be honest, I was very disappointed by the book. 30 dollars is a lot to spend for something that looks like a poorly done high school yearbook. If you’ve never even put red sauce on a pizza lunchable before, this book might be for you, but it definitely isn’t for the cookbook enthusiast. Like their pizza, the whole brand is falling off. Don’t waste your money on this nonsense.
