Great for first time parents!
Very quick read. As a soon-to-be first-time-mom who has not been around a lot of pregnant people, this book helped me a lot. Even with small, “stupid” questions like ‘how often do newborns need to feed?’ because everyone says a lot, but what really is a lot.. And nursing! You hear so much about it and how it can be hard, but even is a good latch or not.. This book can help answer questions you didn’t even think to ask too!With how thick the book was, I thought it would take me much longer to get through, but it was easy to digest and large print. I added some sticky notes as I do plan to return to this book multiple times through pregnancy and once baby arrives!

Perfect for starting from scratch
I bought this book to catch myself up to speed on my family members and friends who are having kids. I am not expecting yet, but do plan on having kids sometime in the future and this has been helpful for gaining more information and may help with making the decision on if having a baby is right for you (coupled with the pregnancy version in the series).This book is wonderful for beginning your research into babies and what it’s like to become a caretaker of a bundle of joy. It skips no steps and even starts out from the very beginning including how babies are made.This book is more of a quick overview and doesn’t dive deep, but can be helpful for pointing out areas of interest for you to research in more depth on your own and through other resources.They also include recommendations on common baby registry items. I didn’t necessarily agree with or like specific brand recommendations, but I found them to be a personal preference issue rather than anything more substantial. If you are overwhelmed with putting items together for a baby registry their recommendations are a good start.

First Time Parents Need This Book
For first time parents this book has it all. It is detailed, has pictures, etc. As all first time parents you are wading into the unknown, this book is so helpful by telling/showing you what to expect and when to expect it. My daughter has worn the pages thin looking up things she needs to know.

Simple means SIMPLE
If you or your partner don’t like to ask people for help, this baby book is for you. It is very straight forward, eliminates the need to go on Google or Reddit for answers, and well-illustrated. My husband and I both have ADHD, and we like that the book just tells us what we need to know without having to read paragraphs. Five stars from brand new millennial parents.
