My work requires I have a wide, tall purse to slip files, catalogs and books inside it. Consequently, when I drive and place my purse on the passenger seat, my purse would fall forward or to side, and the contents spill onto the floor and under the seats. Very frustrating. I never dreamed I’d find such a simple solution that could solve this problem. They are great! Simple to install, remarkably affordable and very easy to use. Once you clamp the hook on to one of the post of your headrest, they are ready to use. To operate, you just twist the “hook” to face the front of your seat or the back. (I thought they would be eyesores, but you really don’t notice them.) I placed one of the hooks onto the passenger headrest with the hook facing towards the front of the car. I now can jump in the car, hang my purse on the hook, easily access it and it stays in place, even when I turn the wheel. Also, it does not require any big effort to twist the hook around to face the back of the car when someone drives with me. Fantastic!Additionally, I live in the desert and I am loathe to place groceries that require refrigeration on the floor of the car where the heat is so intense. These are sold in pairs, so clamped the 2nd hook onto the drivers headrest and twisted the hook so it faces the back of the car. I can hang up to 3 full plastic grocery bags onto the hook. It is so much more convenient to just reach in the car, unhook my groceries and carry them into the house. Extremely handy!

We have three children and drive a sedan so as you can imagine driving to school can be quite cramped with everyone’s book bags in the car as well. So far these have worked very well keeping their book bags off of the floor creating more leg room for the children. Installation process was very simple and they seem to be very sturdy/durable.

I love having these car hooks on our truck (super duty) headrests during the winter especially! It keeps our coats off the floor and allows me to also hang my diaper bag away from the chaos/mud etc. that comes with having a truck. The fact that they spin for front or back use is also super handy as I can just spin it when I need something. It’s also valuable to note they fit behind two rear facing car seats!

Great for holding bags, not great for holding my phone
This is a great tool to easily clip to the headrest in the car to be able to hang a purse or bag from and I was really looking forward to being able to clip my phone into it so I could let my kids watch something every now and then, but my phone with a case on it is too fat to be able to fit in the narrow groove that is made for the phone to slide into. If it was just a it deeper and if the bracket on the top was just a little longer to go over/around the phone it would be 5 stars. For now, just 3, because it does half the job.

These have been a help
I intended to purchase one, but now I’m glad these come in a two-pack. We’ve tried a couple of other products to hold her purse while driving, neither worked without being a hindrance and easily broke. This works fine. No question of sturdiness as it adjusts to fits the headrest columns. No problem at all with the weight of her purse. They come off as easily as they go one. We haven’t had anyone in the backseat to test using the phone for videos. When one of the grandkids try it, I’ll update here. It did easily adjust for different size phones. Definitely worth the cost for our use.
