Effective yet gross
First thing I did was my eyeglasses that I wear everyday and clean regularly. The amount of goo that escaped from the nose pieces was astounding. I also have a bunch of ear piercings and small jewelry that cleaned up really well. The instructions said that it would also work well with fountain pen nibs and I’m excited to try that out. Wish it came with a basket but it was a good purchase for the price.

Sonic
Love it, only drawback is the tray is not removable. Other than that it does a good job of cleaning jewelry.

compact , high quality jewellery cleaner
The double cleaning technology, combining ultrasonic and LED light technology, is a standout feature. My jewelry and glasses look brand new after using this cleaner. The two cleaning modes—5 minutes for general dirt and 7 minutes for heavily stained items—are very convenient. I also appreciate the digital countdown timer, which lets me know exactly how much time is left.

The perfect gift
Bought this as a Mother’s Day gift for my mother and it works so well now I want one. Cleans jewelry better than the routine cleaning at the jewelry store. Leaves everything bright and shiny, easy to use pretty much plug and go. Compact enough to store under your bathroom sink. Not to mention the price point is nice too!

Great deal for small objects, not ideal for larger glasses.
Bought this to clean my glasses.Received on Mar 3, 2025, but didn’t do the necessary, more in-depth, research until yesterday, Mar 4, in preparation to use it. This is not how I normally do things and so some of what I find wrong is my fault for not doing my due diligence first.EXCEPT FOR NO BASKET! My lack of due diligence does not excuse making a product that is missing a NECESSARY component. According to what I read (many times) yesterday, items should not touch the reservoir surface, which can cause damage.THE GOOD: It is an excellent value for the price depending on the use intended. I bought it to clean my reading and Rx glasses. 2 of the 5 pairs I cleaned last night still had some very light residual fogginess on the dirtier edges of the lenses within the 3 minute timed period, and after it “appeared” that no further cleaning action was being done. Obviously, we cannot actually see the full cleaning action, so perhaps 5 minutes was required, but that is not good if your glasses have scratches on the coatings as extended cleaning periods will result in the ultrasonic cleaner eventually removing the coatings.Note: Doing a quick light cleaning on objects first was recommended to reduce use and extend both the life of the cleaner and also the cleaning solution. In my case, I was testing to see how well it cleaned. The last pair I cleaned which was dirty, but not excessively, took less than 90 seconds at which point I terminated the cleaning. According to my reading, we should keep cleaning to the shortest period of time possible, and on glasses with coatings this is of key importance.THE BAD: The steel reservoir is only 1.5” deep. Most of my glasses range from 7/8” to 1.25” in depth thankfully, but quite a few are close to 1.5” or more, which is problematic. No biggie if I could trust putting the glasses face down since the arms don’t matter very much, but since damage to the lens and especially the coatings may result from contact, it is a biggie. Nonetheless, I hope to find something protective to put in the reservoir which will allow me to put the glasses face down. The noise is annoying and so I will have to find something to put it in, like a bread box. For the moment, I repurposed the large food cover that we use in the microwave, which worked great.CLEANING SOLUTION: Using just distilled water is okay, but reducing surface tension increases the cavitation. My reading indicates that Simple Green (not on aluminum) or a mild dishwasher detergent (free of skin softeners or grime-removing abrasives) work great for cleaning most things, BUT not everything.BOTTOM LINE: Great deal for the price for cleaning smaller objects for which I will keep this, but it is not the ideal size for my glasses. Since I love how it cleans, I will be looking for at least a 2L size so I can clean multiple pairs of glasses and, more importantly, larger objects too. I would have bought one of these decades ago if I knew about them and they were this cheap.

What a difference!
I had been using a simple jewelry cleaner that was in a jar and thought my jewelry was getting cleaned. I bought this ultrasonic cleaner and use it on the same jewelry and my eye glasses. What a difference! Now I know it’s all clean, almost like new. My jewelry sparkles again.
